Sheep to wool to tapestry

 

Way back in the late 80s I designed tapestries, using a digitized photo-editing workstation with custom-written exclusive software (Kiwisoft).

The above - a duplicate - was done for a firm that wanted a unique gift for a Japanese client. They gave me a postcard to recreate in tapestry wool

What I was engaged in predates the activity that I'm doing these days. But its digitizing, pixelated principles relate to the recent collages, I feel.
