Destroyed by fire

For a variety of reasons, this is my favorite. I completed it in 2022, I believe, but will check. It is an original Van Gogh in the sense that he didn't paint an original of it. I combined two of his 6 or 7 versions, including one which was destroyed in Japan during the Second World War, of which there remains possibly only one colour photograph.

Jigsaw pieces feature more prominently in this than in any other of my works to date.
